Fanless (air-cooled) is critical as fans fail often, and particularly in dusty remote sites. 8 vdc battery backup system and be power efficient. We needed a 16-port switch that would be reliable for a remote, unmanned location. Not typically for the residential customer this equipment is bulletproof. I have used network switch that cost upto 10x more. I am not using the “cages”, but even so, it is faster and more customizable (and cheaper) than competing switches.Īwesome product for a great price.
Switchos isn’t as powerful (or customizable) as routeros, but then again you are buying a switch.
